Jeremy Lin has blown away the NBA like a bomb! How long can he keep this up? The Knicks have won 7 straight games with Lin since Carmelo Anthony left with a wrist injury. I think that Jeremy is going to do just fine with Melo back in the lineup because of how unselfish he is as a basketball player. Soft spoken and quite, he is willing to take a step back and be the facilitator while Anthony does his thing as a pure scorer. Lin is a true point guard. He is an “old school” basketball player. A winner. He will do whatever it takes for his team to win. Whether that is scoring 20 points a game, having double digit assists, or just being a role player, Lin has the mentality to make it in the NBA as a classy player that is respected by everyone. That is the kind of player that I would like to see succeed. The Knicks have nothing to lose with this move. If they go back to losing, it was where they were before this great stretch, and if they keep winning, well who wouldn’t love a good old Cinderella story.
